Out Of The Inkwell
3 October 2021
When Koko assembles himself from the ink bottle, he discovers Max Fleischer is working on an unrelated cartoon, one about a boxing kangaroo. When Max goes to speak with a pretty girl at the door, Koko takes his revenge on his rival.

Koko was one of the two great cartoon series of the 1920s, along with Felix the Cat. Because Koko existed partly in the real world and partly in the cartoon world, the Fleischers could play with the logic of the situations, mixing and matching their assumptions, as they do here.
