Seems like they're really scraping bottom with a lot of this trite dialogue. "We have to keep him awake or he'll die!" Since when?!!? The
victim had an animal bite, not a concussion, and wasn't in shock. It sounds like it's a good thing she dropped out of pre-med.
Oh, and how does it make any sense to run AWAY from the big, steel reinforced box full of medical supplies and into the woods, at night, in a prehistoric world when threatened by a saber toothed tiger?
People really need to stop listening to the character that keeps screaming "RUN!" when a big predator shows up, immediately triggering their prey drive and causing panic.
I love me some apocalyptic sci-fi, even if it's Dante's Peak implausible. This was so cliched that I don't think I can get past it.
