The Sopranos: Made in America (2007)
Season 6, Episode 21

Still shocked and can't stop overthinking about the ending

Young generation here :) (Same feeling as ending Breaking Bad)

Felt (like everybody) that the TV was broken.

I can't decide if I love/hate the ending, but as I think more and more about it, it makes more sense and it gets even better.

As the Journey song kept playing, I started to realize this is it. But it didn't make any sense. What's going to happen with Sil, Paulie, Tony and all the plot? Started the episode expecting a huge fight between gangs and having a final winner as modern TV does. But then suddenly everything turns off and I can't hear the song anymore.

I like to think that Tony gets killed, it makes sense and it closes the whole story, (as my heart and brain needs it) but as you think more about it it's just another day, another episode, another conflict on this guy's conflicted lifestyle. Everything goes as back to as normal as it could get and The Sopranos universe keeps going without us (with or without Tony Soprano).

I know I'm gonna see it again in 5/10 years and I'm gonna love it even more and fully understand it.
