It's immediately obvious upon watching this episode that the mother is self inflicting the scratches and scratching her daughter. It's so obvious that the rest of the episode is just unsettling, especially when the daughter is involved. There's is abuse going on involved that house and at some point they needed to just stop with the ghost hunting all do something about it. It just keeps going on and on with the paranormal angle.
Very hard to watch, especially knowing there's good chance this is still going on in that house.
It would be funny watching this if it was just the mother involved. But it's not.
