After seeing lots of glowing reviews I thought that this was a film worth seeing. I somehow managed to see it through to the end( I must be a masochist) but have to say that the closest analogy I could make was a badly performed school play. I do not recollect seeing such wooden acting in a film, poorly written script apart from the direct biblical quotations and costumes that looked like they had been collected from a jumble sale. The inspiring but probably apocryphal story of Daniel was served no favours by this shoddy piece of amateur film making.
