After the full action in episode in 13, this was a quieter episode revolving around the Walker family. It was mostly a remembrance of Hoyt Rawlins and all he meant to Cordell, Gerry, Stella and Auggie and of course Abelline and even Bonham.
Sorry to see Matt Barr's character Hoyt Rawlins written out of the script, he was memorable. His death seemed inevitable when Cordell and Gerry kissed, seems their romance was the direction the story line was going to take. And maybe we'll see Brett (Alex Landi) return, we've never seen him have dinner at the Walker family home or even inside the house IIRC.
Four more episodes to go. Hope next year is continuous this year had too many gaps between episodes and people will lose interest.
