After suffering a horribly traumatic encounter with an alien. Lone survivor of the cargo starship Nostromo Lt Ellen Ripley is picked up against extreme odds by a salvage team in deep space. Now she has been asked to return as an advisor on a hunt and destroy mission to save a colony and eradicate the species that wiped out her crew. With an elite marine squadron she embarks in the mission to face her fears and put her nightmares to an end.

This is 1 of the greatest movies ever made without a doubt in my opinion. It is definitely in my top 5. James Cameron did a superb job at making this movie and also some great performances from the cast though I think Carrie Henn wasn't a very good child actress but that is no impact whatsoever in this work of movie genius. In particular Sigourney Weaver is just fantastic as Ripley and her relationship with horribly scarred and traumatised Newt (Carrie Henn) give such great depth to the story. As for the Aliens. They are just as horrific than the original and are the true stars of this film along with a new and even more terrifying character addition. Still stands up great and is a must see for the new adult generation.
