Chrome and Hot Leather (1971) is a movie I recently watched on Amazon Prime. The storyline focuses on a biker gang that has a member who goes rogue and drives two women off the road, killing them. They didn't know that one of the women was the fiancée to a green beret. The green beret and some of his colleagues decide to start an investigation of their own to hunt down the biker gang. This movie is directed by Lee Frost (Chain-gang Women) and stars William Smith (Any Which Way You Can), Marvin Gaye (his only major motion picture), Tony Young (Black Gunn) and Cheryl Ladd (Charlie's Angels). The opening car crash scene, the motorcycle riding learning scene and the soundtrack were all pretty good in this; however, the action scenes and military tactics and random use of military equipment, including their vehicles, were just okay and kind of cheesy to me. Overall this was an average to a slightly above average addition to the action/grindhouse genre and I'd score it a 5.5/10.
