This story is powered by a wonderfully sparky relationship played to perfection by Ha Ji-Won and Hyun Bin.
It is very funny at times and also really rather moving. The fantasy element did not detract from the emotion I invested in the future of these characters, perhaps because they and their predicament were fully developed before fantasy played a part.
I have learned to love the best Korean romantic comedy dramas and this is certainly one of the better ones. Being British there are times when I have to be forgiving of cultural differences, as no doubt Koreans do when faced with a British drama. But it is a small price to pay with so much to enjoy.
