A quirky comedy/mystery/thriller from South Korea. The heroine is a Korean version of the 'tiger mom', determined to protect and help her law student son in whatever way she can, which involves solving the riddle of an extraordinarily high water bill he's had at his apartment. It sounds like a superficial and silly basis for a film, but this being Korea it soon moves into social satire, a look at the lives of the poor and hard-working, and of course a serial killer mystery. Typically quirky supporting characters add to the fun and although this is the sort of the production that plays best to local audiences a wider audience will probably like it too.
