This season was weird bc of the COVID situation,
The limitations that were in place , but when you watch other shows that are also in this situation, it feels NCIS LA went above and beyond. All the limitations effected the story that was written and it hurt the show.
This episode they tried to do more normal but you still see the limitations that are, there was not a scene with all the cast together and that was needed especially if Nell and Eric are leaving for good (and it seems they are) ,we should have gotten a scene with all the characters saying goodbye to them .
The episode itself wasn't bad, the focus was on the characters and not the plot, we seen Nell And Eric going on new voyage, hetty coming back to give Nell her blessing. Deeks was involve with his Russian mob ties and callen faced with the hetty question.
It Wasn't bad , it wasn't amazing , next season they should get back to more normal and less limitations and I hope they will get better. Question is how they will reshape the show now that Eric&Nell leaving, hetty maybe can show up more but they need someone to take charge full time ,maybe it be Kilbride or callen ? And who will replace Nell and Eric?
