Observant viewers will recognize that J Lamont Pope (Chain) is the same actor who would go on to play Curtis, in later seasons. He is believable as the leader of the Dragons. The episode has a somewhat gritty feel to it. Not typical of the series, but done effectively. Steve proves that he is really not what he appears to be. He goes all out, to help Carl capture the Dragons. There's little interaction between Steve and Laura here, but there is a great moment where Steve shows his love for Laura-without saying a word. When Chain tries to touch Laura, Steve slaps his hand. Wow! Steve had courage. For Laura, Steve would do anything! Very good episode. However, a slight issue with Laura. I'm a big fan of Laura, but she could have given poor Steve a little peck on the cheek!
