A holiday in Corsica soon becomes a busman's holiday for Reg, we befriends a young couple, but finds himself investigating her disappearance when she vanished when back home in England.
I'm a fan of this episode, I think it definitely benefits from a reduced running time, it's better paced, it really has a more punchy pace.
The location setting adds something extra to this episode, it looks wonderful. It's also nice to see the foursome interacting socially, until Reg gets bored that is.
The climax is one of the show's best moments, it's very dramatic, and very well staged.
It's excellent, I'm so glad I was able to get it on dvd from Germany, it seems so incredibly bizarre that such a fondly remembered series hasn't had a commercial release here in The UK. 9/10.
