Gormiti (2018– )
1/10
This sucks

To begin with, I grew up with the Gormiti, like any European child of the 2000s, both with the old animated series of 2008, and with toys, that if you didn't even have one, you were on the fringes of childhood society. But as early as the third season, Neorganic Evolution, the franchise was beginning to decay, especially considering the fact that cartoons that existed only to sell toys were starting to be less and less common. But that abomination that was the 2013 series was not enough, because in 2018, Rai and Planeta Junior released it completely late compared to its era, THIS. Many say that Teen Titans Go, Ben 10 and Powerpuff Girls are the worst reboots humanity has ever made, but in my opinion Gormiti is on a whole other level. The only positive things I can say are the CGI, which is nice, and the theme song that is not bad, especially Giorgio Vanni one (although it seems weird to me that Vanni, Alessandra Valeri Manera and Max Longhi did an acronym for someone other than Mediaset), but all this does not save the fact that the protagonists are the same stereotypical effeminate copy-pasted character, the character design a little too simple for my taste and the fact that they tried to transform, succeeding, of the corpses, which are the Gormiti, in vile money, showing us, again, that the majors no longer have original ideas for making successful cartoons. In summary, don't let your children watch it because it affects their mental health. Luckily for us, this cartoon is nearing the end as Rai has confirmed that the series will end in 2022 and, I swear to god, if there is another Gormiti series in the future, I will have an aneurysm.
