This Modern Man Is Beat is truly a great short film, but its theme is quite saddening. The film is about Habib, the main character, who is a young man that is currently going through a lot of things in his life. He is financially not doing well because he got fired from his job three months ago and hasn't been able to find a job since, has a sign of eviction to his house, his wife is abusive because he can't be a provider to her and physically hits him, and is very depressed. Habib just wants to prove himself to his wife. Habib is a man who is going through a lot now and that's how this short film got its title of "This Modern Man Is Beat".
