Tripper's Day: Vatman and Robbin (1984)
Season 1, Episode 6
5/10
An average end to the series.

The day is ruined at Supafare when the VAT man turns up, and a purchase of a bed raises a few questions.

It's a pretty feeble final episode, once again the gags are well delivered, but poorly written, you can't fault the efforts of the cast, Rossiter in particular is great, but up against it with the script. The final scene with the clock was mildly amusing.

This marks the end of the show as Rossiter had sadly passed away, the show would return as Slinger's Day, with Bruce Forsyth, I'll have to check it out.

Edwin Richfield is pretty funny as Mr Higgingbottom, Jeanette Charles was the spitting image of The Queen, and was well known for appearing as her, a true lookalike.

Not great, but watchable, 5/10.
