Years ago, if you asked my younger self about Power Rangers. I would mention the Blue, Red and Yellow Rangers. You would probably ask me, what about the Black, Green and Pink Rangers??
Because this show is how I was introduced to Power Rangers! I had no idea the original ones existed when I saw this series. I used to see it on ABC, and I loved it!! It also used to annoy my mother to death, because we would always mimic the Rangers movements and fighting styles. (Hey, we all did that no matter which series, don't deny it!) I love, I'm gonna get a little hate for this, but on this show the Rangers actually know martial arts. By that I mean they are taught by a Sensei.
Now I am re-watching this series and enjoying it so much. I think it is very sad that they hardly bring these Rangers back nowadays, but I think that is due to Pua Magasiva's suicide. That means I will never have my dream team-up of Jason and Dustin, my two favorite Rangers of all time.
Still, it wouldn't hurt to bring some of them back? Make my dreams come true?? Either way, I ma glad I re-discovered this show and these will always be my Rangers. The other versions are okay, but these are the best!
