I agree with the two previous posters, Man From Wyoming is not Gary Cooper's best film ( although I liked it more then they did). I would say it is really his co Star June Collyer ( Patricia Hunter) who dominates the movie. Here Cooper plays Jim Baker an engineer who is also an Army Captain in Workd War 1 France. He meets and secretly marries spoiled society girl Hunter, and of course it is along the lines of boy meets girl, boy loses girl and boy gets girl back. But here, like Carole Lombard did in I TakeThis Woman ( a far better film) it is Collyer who has to grow up in order to keep her new husband. Spoilers ahead: in the final scene of the movie after a series of misunderstandings, they finally meet again, and she tells him she is going to Wyoming with him. Although this is certainly not Cooper's best film it is certainly worth watching, especially because it can be found on YouTube. I give it 710 stars.
