Cant this show find a path and stick to it?

Warning: Spoilers
Why is every season seem like it's a reboot of the prior season ?????

Jason Hayes character has turned to garbage and never learns or progresses. And the complete disregard to how the military operates, assigns duty stations, jobs, roles has gotten so crazy that even a layman should be like "WHAT?"

So far Jason Hayes has had massive PTSD that instead of a medical sep/retirement , he shakes it off in a couple episodes

He then ages out and his body reflects his career only to have some physical therapy by a soon to be girlfriend and now he operates like a 20 year old again.

I've lost track how many times he has jumped off bravo team to the ops floor...as if that is something he gets to choose

And his love interest he gets to emotionally dump , say sorry after ignoring her for a full deployment and be back in her graces instantly. Rinse repeat this dating cycle each season.

Clearly David Borneaz's ego is steering the ship on this show as the main actor and Exec producer. Any the shows appeal is diminishing at a cost of his ego

All the other team members seem to have the same cycle of stupidity. This episode just was a capstone of all the stupidity

They need to stop with these side character ventures that are a waste. Or ride them fully to conclusions
