Yes, it does seem a bit outdated that in 2016 people still felt it was odd that a guy could be a Nurse BUT, that aside this is a great Hallmark film.
For me, two things make a good Hallmark film - whether the leads have chemistry, and also whether the story holds up.
This one ticks both the boxes, and provided a nice bit of entertainment.
I thought Erika Christensen did well conveying both sides to her character also.
