2/10
Archetypal Disney kids and teen show, but quite a bit tone deaf.

This is a template disney show, carrying very similar energy and vibes to shows like Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, and Lizzie McGuire. On the plus side, the show smoothly blends in a rather new idea of a Live feeds channel hosted by the two kid protagonists to be the center stage for the plot and drama. The concept is really quite innovative.

However, I found the execution to be in somewhat poor taste. I am sure this must have been pointed out here by others before, but the treatment of the Asian kid Fred, is tone deaf, at best, and downright appalling at worst, throughout the episodes. Perhaps the intent of the writers was to bring out some kind of comedy through the downplay and awkward treatment of the Asian kid, but if you watched a couple of episodes, it becomes quite obvious, how this could set bad precedence and typecasting for kids and families watching this show.
