OK guys, I know everything in this show is far fetched to the point of absurdity, but seriously... an alleged art expert buying a false Rembrandt that was painted only the previous day?
If nothing else (and there is a truckload of everything else about antique paintings) the canvas would have been still wet and SMELLY! Oil colours smell when fresh. Even if you cannot distinguish a Monet from a Manet, you can still smell the fresh paint.
I like the absurd but not the stupid, as in this episode.
