well, next time, pay attention to where you move

If this is supposed to be an inspirational story about a small community overcoming burdensome bureaucracy, it's failed miserably. I got so angry watching this that I didn't get to the end. Before I turned it off, the last thing I wanted to do was move to gabarus. Stunning landscape but the most annoying people I've ever seen. I sympathize with their situation but I have no sympathy for these people. Sorry but just because you've lived in a given area all your life does not mean that you're guaranteed a room in heaven forever. As far as I know from history, there were people there before these residents and there will be people there long after they are gone, so long as it's not completely submerged in water. I don't see any reason why the rest of canada should pay for their charmed life. But, hey, I'm not canadian, as many gabarus residents are not canadian, so I have no right to say anything right? So, I'll say this to the people of california. I don't see why I should pay taxes, and higher insurance premiums so some people can move to california and build their homes and live in high risk fire areas. I don't get to live such a charmed life so why should I pay for yours. And to be honest, it's not just the story and characters. This is a terribly produced documentary. Everything about the production is amateurish and pointless.
