Review of Bloodlust

Bloodlust (1992)
6/10
Home movie

Cheap videotaped sex and violence epic about a trio of killer vampires.

Most of the cast attempt (bad) American accents but usually lapse back into Australian after a few words. Phil Motherwell seems to be the only trained actor amongst the main cast and his manic performance as a religious zealot is great fun.

Overall it plays like a home movie with extra blood, guns, and nudity. The cheap videotaped look destroys any atmosphere the locations or violent imagery might have added.

OK to watch through once you get used to the bad acting. It was fun picking out the Melbourne locations.
