I've been a fan of Crash Bandicoot long before I had hair on my balls & have to say I was excited at the prospect of a new Crash Game being released! Here was me thinking the series had died long ago & that it was done, but no we get this game which I thought was going to be great, I even saw a trailer & it looked alright despite my skepticism!
The game is graphic wise amazing, the animations & effects are something else, the game play however pales in comparison DRASTICALLY! I don't even know where to start, but over all the game is ultimately HARD throughout! The completion of each level is more of a chore to get through than fun & enjoyable! Hell, you more dread about how hard each level is going to be rather than be excited! There's no progression from easy to hard! EVERY level in this god forsaken game is hard & just when you think you've beaten the hardest level, another one comes along!
The levels themselves are too complex & all over the place, I've not once got a single gem for breaking the crates! Even the bonus levels are cancerous to get through as with the levels themselves which literally suck out all the fun & make it more of a miserable experience if anything else! This game makes Unfair Mario seem like a piece of p!$$ & that's saying something else!
There are only VERY few levels in this game that are easy & enjoyable & that's sad! The game NEEDS to be made POSSIBLE & PLAYABLE by the gamer & not IMPOSSIBLE & OBNOXIOUS to the point where it aggravates the gamer!
I don't think this game was tested before it was released that's my view! I think this was rushed & any consideration & fairness to make each level remotely winnable is complete sucked out here!
The story-line is so thin it's non-existent, the mask, characters & the bosses are just overkill as with the levels complexity but I already said that!
Overall this game is pure cancer to play & the worst of the franchise! EASY! I've been playing the Crash Games for years & not once have I came across one which was vile to play & get through! The graphics are the only redeeming feature in this game! Take it from me! This game is HORRIBLE!
