I actually thought all the actors did really well, I think some feel the acting was bad, but I felt it was rather the script that failed the actors. The dialogue and story was quite corny at times, so the actors had to do their best to work with that.
Then, the action scenes... What happened??? The first movie had some great action, this movie lacked much and when it did have them, they were very sub par for a major studio film. The Avengers movies proved that good action can come with CGI, so you can't even excuse that as the culprit.
