The movie was an okay movie. The storyline could have been developed a little more to be compelling but it's a Christmas movie so my expectations were low to begin with. However, there was a line in the movie that goes, "He's normal and she's a South American looney tune" or something to that effect. Very disappointing to see a movie released in 2011 using that type of reference. Seems like the writers needed some sensitivity training. Considering that 99% of the cast is white, why make the South American woman the crazy one??? These are the subtle messages that continuously feed stereotypes and foster discrimination. Shameful.
