Identical young girls, one an orphan tough tomboy (Mary-Kate Olsen) and a wealthy well-mannered girl (Ashley Olsen). Swaps places to see how their lives will be. They try to create a romance between a social worker/mother figure (Kirstie Alley) and the other one's father (Steve Guttenberg). They try to stop dad from marry the wrong woman who's gold digger.
This was my favorite movie when I was a kid in the 90's. The film is more like The Parent Trap meets The Prince and the Pauper. The only differences the girls are identical stranger not long separate twins. The Olsen twins did a good jobs in their roles. I feels this movie need more attention than Lindsay Lohan's remake (release after).
