Ouija Craft (2020)
2/10
Just another stereotypical Ouija board movie...
30 October 2020
Well, at least it had spirit, and actually had more magic in it than the 2020 movie "The Craft: Legacy".

But "Ouija Craft" was by no means an entertaining movie. It was a low budget movie, first and foremost. Not that there is anything necessarily wrong with low budget movies, but "Ouija Craft" just failed to deliver anything overly entertaining at the hands of writer and director Aaron Mirtes.

Scarily enough, then the movie's cover/poster was actually the most interesting part about the entire movie. I managed to endure about an hour of the ordeal that is known as "Ouija Craft", then I just gave up out of sheer and utter boredom.

The storyline, while might have seemed good and interesting on paper, just failed to translate well into visual story on the screen. And I can honestly say that I can't even remember the names of the characters, because I just didn't invest anything into the characters or the storyline - yeah, it was just that trivial.

As for the acting in the movie, well it was what it was. This was not Shakespearian performances, nor acting on a higher level. However, I will say that at least it wasn't among the worst of acting that I have seen in low budget movies.

Visually, then I will say that "Ouija Craft" actually fared quite well for a low budget movie. I was actually impressed with the magic effects in the movie, though the special effects just couldn't manage to salvage the lack of a proper storyline.

My rating of "Ouija Craft" conjures up a mere two out of ten stars. This wasn't magic, people.
