First saw this at our local theater as a nine year old in 1951. Remember being on edge throughout the movie wondering what next awaited the patrol. The direction, character development first rate. Atmospheric with an outstanding cast.
Picked up the DVD a few years ago. It was a gem 70 years ago. Nothing's changed
