Spine Tingling!

Warning: Spoilers
Spine tingling magical feelings of watching Star Wars as a little kid were brought flooding back by this episode.

Ezra is drawn to Tatooine by the holocron, seeking to save Obi Wan Kenobi from Maul but of course it is a trick by Maul to draw Obi Wan out of hiding so he can gain his revenge.

The feeling of the new hero Ezra going to Tatooine where the saga all began for fans is wonderful and we get Sandpeople, sandstorms, droids in the wilderness before finally the great moment arrives where Obi Wan appears.

It is all done beautifully and I was astounded how well series regular actor Stephen Stanton does imitating Alec Guiness' voice as the older Obi Wan. He already does well as Grand Moff Tarkin but his Obi Wan is superb and really adds to the magic.

Maul is such a superb character too and having his sinister presence threading through the episode is so cool. Then we get the epic moment where he appears to face Obi Wan. It gave me goose bumps.

It is bravely written and created to give a different climactic scene from what we expect and I found it very powerful and suitable. What a great arc that was from Clone Wars through to this moment. It is class.

Marvelous episode with an ending that sent shivers down my spine.

My rating: 10/10.
