Passing Time
7 October 2020
Painter James Cruze throws down his brushes in disgust and goes hiking to let the well of creativity refill. He encounters barefoot Marguerite Snow amid her sheep, and is entranced. (as was I). She becomes his model and the toast of Paris. Yet time passes, and youth is fleeting.

It seems more an anecdote than a story to me, but the plotting of Thanhouser's staff writer Lloyd Lonergan often strikes me that way. Yet the image of Miss Snow in the middle of her flock is gorgeous. Kudos to cameraman Arthur A. Cadwell!
