Makeup man doesn't offer those wholesome laughters while one watches from a jayaram or shafi comedy film, but still I felt it entertaining without any dull moment mainly because its plot was engaging though predictable. Jayaram and siddique cakewalks in their hero and villain characters respectively. Sheela was also decent and suraj wasn't over the top like usual. Two songs by vidyasagar were good in which my pick is aaru tharum. If you don't mind its lack of lol moments and clichéd story then you will enjoy makeup man.
