Bones was still a good show at this point. Still great, maybe some hiccups. Pedant is an excellent evil villain. Booth and Bones are key and the stars, the second stringers are still doing what they are supposed to be doing...and that is playing back-up. No one in the show, other than Booth and Bones, can handle the reigns of this show. Sadly, after Palent leaves the scene, the show begins to faulter. Still a great show.
