Warlock Moon (1973)
Spa Treatment...

Warning: Spoilers
WARLOCK MOON opens with Jenny and John (Laurie Walters and Joe Spano) going for a drive, and winding up at a seemingly abandoned old spa. They are greeted by a nice old woman named Agnes (Edna MacAfee), who makes them some nice tea.

Uh oh!

Edna's been slipping something extra into the brew, and the young couple soon find themselves in a nightmare involving sharp axes, and the crazed, hippie cultists who wield them!

The plot stops, starts, and meanders quite a bit, but has its moments. Spano's character spends much of his screen time being "funny" in a rubber crutch sort of way. The twist toward the end isn't a big surprise, but it does make the story a lot more enjoyable.

In summation, don't drink the tea, and for God's sake, don't eat the food!...
