13 September 2020
This entertaining dramedy concerning the business world and relations in work environment. Dealing with a successful entrepreneur, Luis Callejo, he is the homophic, stiff-upper-lip boss of a big company, but nowadays things go wrong and business upside down. As he discovers an employee is robbing the enterprise and at the same time the council of administration wants to miss him due to the finances are in crisis and economic discrepancy. The distressed employer has only a week to resolve these problems, while working from sunrise to sunset. Moreover, his wife : Diana Lazaro, asks him for divorce. Along the way he meets a gorgeous Colombian cleaning lady :Juana Acosta, while having a shower at the office. Then, both of whom have fun, finally, he falls in love with her, as an unexpected ally will erupt in his life.

An amusing dramedy concerning ambition, corruption, power relationships among member of an enterprise and dark activities of big companies valued at many thousands of Euros that upside down . As well as the unfortunate consequences when these enterprises go bankrupt and their stock exchange shares worthless. This is an acceptable picture that got several nominations, as Cinema Writers Circle Award and nominee best adapted script Nominee Goya best adapted screenplay. This is an amusing comedy with dramatic touches and nice interpretation . Stars Luis Callejo playing a vulgar, fast-talking, semi-racist CEO who if successful and commanding , however from one moment to the next sees his associates betray him and eventually he wants to commit suicide by throwing from the skycraper. Callejo is a notorious actor with a long career, usually in secondary roles, such as Tarde para la ira, Mientras dure la guerra, Oro, El hombre de las mil caras, Risen, Kiki el amor se hace, Palmeras en la nieves and TV series as La peste, Libertad, El barco, Capitan Alatriste, Princesa de Eboli, El Continental. While Juana Acosta plays decently Ariana, a beautiful cleaner lady of the night shift entrenched in the office, who works in sunset cleaning the building. And remaining support cast as Carlo D'Ursi playing the traitor colleague and Diana Lazaro as his wife Laura who kicks him out .

The motion picture shot in Madrid and Lisboa was professionally directed by Sergio Barrejon. He his a good professional, a fine director and especially writer, as he has written a lot of TV series as La Catedral del mar, Servir y proteger, Sonata de silencio, Amar es para siempre, Mi querido Klikowsky, El pasado es mañana and Cinema as Hijo de Cain, and this "Jefe" , the only one he directed . Rating 6/10. Acceptable and passable.
