The lead is likable, she is fashionable and level-headed, and she isn't completely hopeless like some Hallmark leads. I enjoy that this was clearly not made by Hallmark because it means the story is a little less formulaic.
The problem is that they forgot to make it entertaining. There are a lot of forlorn looks in this movie, and I think most viewers will be left doing the same.
