On the serious side.. the only *remotely* goth thing in this was the makeups. Nothing goth in the activities, attitudes or even the music. Now, if you don't watch this expecting something serious, it can be quite enjoyable. It's actually brilliantly ridiculous. Overally, watch it with the idea of how you'd be watching for example a high-school theatrical play. Or a raw home video, the whole VHS-y blend of it makes it like that, it doesn't look or feel like an actual movie haha. The people who made this probably aren't professional filmmakers, or even more so, movies aren't the main thing they do, it's more like part of something else.
Have to admit though, Phoebe Dollar's character had some moments with potential. Should this be re-made as a real movie, it might not be too shabby.
