Just a lazily written episode. If they wanted the replicators to make a comeback, they should of come up with a little better way than to make sg1 look like fools. It's not the first time Carter make an idiot mistake, but it's not at all in Jack's character to let something like this happen. He trusts nothing. And the end, oh Sam, as long as you don't feel bad, that's all that matters.... You just let the biggest threat known at the time to be able to defend against the ONLY weapon known to work on them. Just a lazy lazy episode by the writers. Thanks for lowering sg1 in the eyes of all the fans. This is an episode I skip over everytime when I re-watch the series.
