Chicago Fire: A Breaking Point (2017)
Season 6, Episode 4
1/10
Unrealistic and Illogical

Warning: Spoilers
This episode begins with a savvy paramedic who foolishly run into a crumbling cement parking garage. It is the epitome of badly written television. Keeping in mind that acting is acting, also keep in mind that this is a show based on reality. There is nothing real or convincing about a smart woman running into a collapsing cement parking structure. No sane person would do it, no matter how heroic they might be. The scene was a desperate attempt to create an episode from nothing. It was the first time in the serious I was reminded this was tv; not real. I shed many tears throughout the season because it was written and performed well. Season 6 has reached a point where the magic of the show is starting to fade and this episode was proof. Seeing her running into the garage after leaving her phone on her car seat, I was already disappointed because at that point, I knew I wouldn't enjoy the episode and I was correct.
