Warning: Spoilers
The aftermath of Matthew Morgan's concession to Bill Malloy's murder has made its way through Collinwood, and Collins housekeeper mrs. Johnson rushes over to see Burke Devlin to tell him about the latest developments. This doesn't mean however that he's done with the Collins family, and makes him more determined than ever to destroy Roger. David visits Burke as well, and is still causing trouble for his father by indicating that he still feels that his dad is guilty of something. But Burke, as much as he hates Roger, doesn't want to see him punished for something that he didn't do, a surprising and intriguing twist about Burke's character.

In every great soap opera plot line, there are episodes like this after major plot twist come out where everybody gets their chance to react to the revelations that are made. Good writing can make it interesting which is the factor here, and to add some excitement, we see Matthew hiding out in the old house. That will make him appear to be ghostly himself even though he is still very much alive...for now. Clarice Blackburn, as mrs. Johnson gets campier with each episode that she's in, and here begins to remind me not only of Andrea Martin but Cloris Leachman (and later Andrea on stage) as Frau Brucher in "Young Frankenstein".
