We enjoyed this film a lot!
Perfect for children aged about 7-12 (but our 4 year old daughter enjoyed it as well), with an engaging magical story that stirs their imagination. And there is a lot to enjoy for the parents too: great acting by both the young and grownup actors, believable dialogue, well-paced story and a gorgeous-looking Amsterdam in the fall.
Most of the adult roles are rather one-dimensional, but this is not a problem as they are still believable, and funny, and all serve the story which is about friendship and children finding out who they want to be.
