Worth Waiting For
3 August 2020
"Worth Dying For" has, for me, been well worth waiting for for all these 45 years since last I saw it. Of all the "Whodunnit" episodes, this is the one I have never forgotten because of Henry Johnson's (played by Richard Coleman) spectacular death, and also the denouement. Bill Simpson's (Dr Finlay) dour Scottish detective is also a treat. It is so nice to see everyone young and fit, as one remembers first seeing them. But that spectacular 'death' has, oh yes, been well worth waiting for.
