This was a surprise find for me. Some reviewers said "Oh, it wasn't long enough", but I feel it was just perfect. Instead of showing the bands full performance dancing around on stage and playing all their hits (which would have been coo also) they show how the music touched people throughout the world. And the fans highlighted were 'real people' who've experienced very different trials of life (divorce, cancer, communism, crashes, discrimination). It was nice to watch how all of these different personalities could come together with the band and music that has touched their lives so much. It was sad to see them cry as they told their stories, but you were lifted back up when you see them all smiling and singing together at the show. My experience with Depeche Mode is different as well, but in the music I found a little kinship with these fans also. Again, what a nice surprise to discover this film.
