Don't believe the critics!
A bunch of idiots say there isn't character development. It's not about a person but an idea.
If the movie developed the characters we'd lose narrative on the story and the story is amazing.
The only draw back ~ it's kind of white washed. And I'm white. While watching it's easy to think 'white man to the rescue' ~ the major characters were white actors with supporting performances from black actors. It would have been nice to see a bit more of the Ethiopian story instead of just from Israel's side.
That being said, it was a great movie.
Inspiring, powerful and important, especially given the climate in and concerning Israel today.
