Thankful for REAL Comedy Specials Being Released
17 July 2020
There have been some absolute duds this year. Non-Comedians doing specials that didn't seem to have any preparation. Eric Andre, whom I love and The Eric Andre Show is one of my favorite shows ever, but his stand up special... not good. Burnt Chrysler... it was more of the same. Adam Devin's special was unwatchable, as was the Ilana Glazer 65 minute applause break because it was a room of people all vying to show the world they are the most 'woke'. But then there are heroes that come through for us: Jim Jefferies, Segura, Stanhope and now Hannibal Buress. I won't burn any of his bits on here but there's a cool intro of some old material as well as some interesting production going on during this show that make it unique and fun. And the laughs - stellar material. And it's on youtube. Go check it out now before it's removed so that it can go onto another place - as I'm guessing it will. Or before youtube goes under because they are now jamming so many commercial breaks into their videos that it's becoming not worth it to watch anything on there... except Hannibal Buress' Miami Nights. It's a hit!
