Breathe: Into the Shadows (I) (2020– )
6/10
Average and fails to impress!!!

The season 2 fails to impress as compared to season 1.

R Madhavan starrer season 1 was exceptionally executed. He set the benchmark for psychological thrillers but Abhishek Bachchan fails to continue it. The season 2 was slow, laggish and lengthy (unnecessarily lengthy). If you make 12 episodes then please make sure to add content in them not any garbage. The major difference between both the seasons was choosing of targets before killing. R Madhavan chooses randomly and Abhishek Bachchan chooses to take revenge of what happens in his past (which he don't even know). Also the plan to execute murder were innovative and creative in season 1. The season 2 was just police looking for the murderer and forgetting about that little girl. After 6 episodes you will start loosing interest and it's worthy to skip Episode No. 7, 8, 9 because it doesn't contain anything. Season 2 was based on the plot of 'Raavan and his 10 weaknesses'.

But yes, at various points of time the show has taken your breath away.

The only reason to watch this was Amit Sadh (continuing his character of Inspector Kabir Sawant very well and Prakash Kamble too). If you are getting bored and you have nothing to watch, you can go through this.

Season 1 was extraordinary than season 2.
