This story was really interesting and was set in 1949 but still very much reverberates today. The acting was very good, the writing spot on and the directing was excellent. The small town atmosphere permeates the movie and the setting was dead on. People's prejudices and petty behavior were on display. Gradually the movie goes from sweetness to hatred back to love. I really enjoyed this and it is a lesson for us all.
