I absolutely loved this Film for the most part. The one-shot take is fantastically well executed and immerses you into the film as few have done before. The narrative is also well written as are the characters and you quickly establish a connection with all of them. However the movie has one major drawback for me, the same drawback that a lot of world war movies have. The trying to make you believe that the enemy (In this case the Germans) have absolutely no military competence whatsoever. I mean how many shots can a trained soldier miss?? It is ridiculous and really dragged me out of the experience. Luckily these encounters with the enemy are few so it doesn't ruin the entirity of the movie.
