I am absolutely fascinated by witches and witchcraft amd was therefore really looking to this, but this movie was unbearable. I muted the music after 5 minutes as it was truly overwhelming, and stopped the movie altogether after 20 minutes of pain. I recognize that for a 1922 movie it is pretty good, but I just couldn't stand the terrible acting, the grimy decor, the slow pace. I wish I liked it but it was truly unbearable.
